What is FOM2 Rotary Index?

With the FOM2 Rotary Index we cannot only process flat sheet, but we have the ability to cut pipe and tube. Hi speed, hi precision and stable cutting is achieved with both processes. This multi use laser can reduce process time, set up time, and expand product range with added process value. The change time between cutting flat sheet and pipe or tube is only 60 seconds.

Features

The rotary Index has the capability to process round pipe with a maximum diameter 220mm, to a weight of 200 Kg, It will process round, square, rectangle, angle and channel. The cutting point is near the support roller, this means the pipe's bow and twist is minimized and hi accuracy can be achieved all the time. Pipe or tube can be automatically repositioned and cut to a length of 6m.

Support Roller & Main Chunck

The support chuck roller holds tube in the vicinity of the cutting point (independently driven by two rollers on each side), therefore high accuracy processing can be maintained throughout the cutting process.

The repositioning chunk holds the tube firmly when the repositioning operation is performed. 6m lengths can be processed with the repositioning function.
